Tower

Collaborative project with A.P. Vague, 2006

β€œFor Vague and Fugit, multiple views of the same environment collectively produce a series of Warholesque photographic repetitions, so that what might otherwise constitute an unexceptional industrial landscape of electrical towers and powerlines becomes a seductive journey through the spectrum. As each photographic cell articulates the same scene by using varying combinations of red and green hues (some producing the sensation of complete darkness: others producing blinding effects), the artists are able to alter the chromatic composition of landscape and provide viewers a completely different lens by which the quotidian can be seen, interpreted, and appreciated.”
